Something funney happens in Iraq

Hi all,
Something funny happened today here in Iraq.

As you may or may not know, Islam prays towards Mecca five times per day.

First Light
Dawn
Noon
Sunset
Last Light

The signal the poor people use is a large PA system that plays a recording in Arabic that is the call to prayer. The better off homes have a special clock that calculates these times and makes some kind of signal to the owners.

That PA system is audible here inside the base.

This morning my alarm clock goes off at 04:45. So I'm in the rack waking up. Doing the usual shaking off the bad dreams that come with my sleep.

In the background I hear the PA system crank up. The tired recorded voice in Arabic starts its chant.

Then something unexpected happens.

All the feral dogs that live near this base start to howl!

Made an interesting counterpoint.

Normally the dogs go after each other. A few times a night I hear the pack turn on one or another. When it's 35 to one, the odds are in the packs favor. Nature is a brutal filter.

This was just an odd thing to hear from over the wall.

A song of contrasts between those that will and those that are willing.

The two groups are intense. One is intense and perceives themselves as normal. The other is intense and has no perception, but knows they are natural. Both groups will attack internally and externally to the groups, what ever is required.

Which group is which?

This question left for you to resolve as you shake-off the night and as you are forced to leave your repose.

Then, as the day presents itself, you know the answer but I do not.

A dust storm with lightening.

Iraqi's killing each other for political gain.

TCN's serving pork to AMCITS.

Then again a lot of life is learning to compramise ones internal rules with those of the world.
