Are you sure that you would want a hand-scorcher?

The sandwich form factor does not manage the heat as well as McLux heads or eCan/eSink combos.

The amount of heat being generated by such a combination could result in damage to the LED/BB convertor if left running for too long.

I recently assembled a Downboy/LuxIII sandwich (with extra effort to adequately manage the heat by mounting the LED on a copper slug) for a Stoplight, and that config warms up very quickly.

Even in the DB config, I am considering using a momentary-only switch so that the light cannot be left on to overheat. web page
