We saw this homeless man who look really nice. Phuong gave him $2. He was so happy he said I can finally get something to eat. We continue to drive down the block. We both were filled with the blues looking at a deserted downtown but even more after engaging the homeless man. His income likely drops like mines and everyone else for obvious reasons. I asked Phuong if she wants to circle back and give him some more money. She said sure and dug into her purse. I saw a $5 so I told her to get that. As we approach Phuong said lets just give him a $20. I said OK holding my breath. Not even sure why...We called him over and handed him the $20 and he was so happy. He ran back across the street to pick up his backpack and then we saw him unite with another homeless woman in wheelchair down the street. We saw him handed something to her and they left together. Hopefully they went to have lunch...We continued in silence for awhile...I have full confidence what our circumstances will improve in not too distant future and we will all rise to a new level of perseverance.
It's so hard for me to give out money on the streets as I've been scammed so many times. I still do it if I really feel the push too, but.... It's great to hear stories like this cause it reminds me there really are people on the streets with good hearts that need help and not just there for "free" money.

Does anyone know if the FW1A XPL HI and the FW1A Pro XHP50 has the same OP reflector??

Vinh, I believe it's a different reflector. The reason is because the XHP50 version appears to have a larger hole in it, based on CAD screen measurements (provided that I'm looking at accurate pictures of each product). With that stated, I am seeing an actual picture of a positively I.D.'d XPL HI equipped FW1 light, and a different picture of a positively I.D.'s XHP50 FW1 light, and the hole does appear to be larger on the XHP50. Lumintop lists the overall length of the XHP50 version at fractions of a millimeter longer as well, which doesn't tell the whole story but it's possibly another clue that they are different.

I can't post the links here, but if you search FW1A Pro XHP50 images, you'll probably see what I'm referring to. The hole is a larger percentage (about 10-12%) of the overall reflector area. Now, it is possible that there are rings/spacers on the XPL HI version which make the hole look smaller that the XHP50 but... my guess is that the hole really is larger on the XHP50.

Please let us know, when you find out for sure.

    3X15mm

Slots are a bit longer than 3X15mm so that they can "wave" up and down.

Thanks-do they require glue/epoxy or whatever to hold them in?

The Lounge 2020, first post of Q2 2020:

    Arizona allowed activities, one example:

Constitutionally protected activities, such as speech.

    Essential activity: such as religion.

Essential business: Human service operation: Behavioral health > Substance disorder > Recovery.

Essential service: Substance disorder > Recovery.

Thank God I am not in some other service activity, such as picture framing, coin collecting, bowling, fitness, sports, gambling, theater, concert or sports venue or museum.

Just a guess, but he probably is thankful his job is considered essential and can still work, whereas other professions, like those he listed, are not.

Lumintop recent FW4A and FW1A has ultra thick copper MCPCB. Good Job!

I'm really liking a lot of the products from Lumintop these days, so when I see extra build quality revealed on the inside, it makes me like their stuff even more. I used to consider them a step behind Emisar/Noctigon but I don't feel that way anymore. Lumintop make such a variety of lights that end up being the best in their class as stock lights and even better after Vinh works on them.

I forgot to mention that SBT90LED is solder bonded to the copper light engine in the FW3Tvn90. I try too solder bond the LED MCPCB to a light engine whereever possible as this is extremely crucial to the LED's health! P60vn90 bonded with Arctic Silver will tint shift and overheat but A-OK with solder bonding to the brass pill.

So I was bored the other day and decided to dust the cobwebs off some of my gear and play dress up. IR lights are fun, too!
Funny the things we do when we've got a lot of time on our hands lol

It's a Bradford Guardian 4 in Vanadis 4E steel, great knife, incredible steel. One of my favorites.

Haha, yeah, I almost did the other day when I had to go to the post office, but ended up wearing a monochrome American flag one I have instead. People are on edge enough without seeing a 260lbs man in a skull mask walking around

It's a BAE Systems Eclipse RBAV. It takes BALCS cut armor, and I have IIIA panels as well as 11x14 level 4 ceramic plates. I really want to upgrade to some of the newer materials that sustain multiple hits better, and are more durable in general, but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for yet.
