Need Recommendations single 16340 light

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a small or at least a smaller light. All my lights have been 18650 or bigger so far. I just wanted to go a little bit smaller better feel in my pocket. I need it everyday. Last month I bought a Klarus xt1c and I loved it until it started flickering after 3 days. So I returned that but still want something in that category but more reliable. I've looked at eagletac but I see a lot of bad reviews. I don't know what to trust

1000 lumens or at least close
and single 16340

a mdc with the higher voltage head would work or

mdc/vme combo

i was going to say the edcl1t by SF but its not 1000lms

1000LM in anything but a brief burst will be tough for a 16340 to handle.

Like Chris said above, anything that high output will only last a moment at best with a 16340. Probably just disappointing.

I'd say give the Fenix PD25 a shot. If you're looking for small, that's my favorite small light by far. Perfect for a pocket and 550 lumens isn't too shabby. It includes a 16340 with built-in micro USB charging.

Although it technically meets none of your listed criteria ... scratch that, it has a tail clicky ... I'll take the liberty of reading between the lines and guess that you might like a BOSS 35 :thinking:
