In case this helps anybody else (I hope this is within forum rules)... I was all set to buy an M2X second hand but the purchase fell through. In the interim I managed to track down both types of battery extender tube (the XM-L2 and the XP-L) via a very helpful Olight retailer.
I feel terrible that they went to so much trouble to track down such inexpensive parts only for me to cancel the purchase!
If anybody needs one of these tubes please PM me and I'll pass on the retailer's contact details.
