Good day to interested participants.
I would like to discuss the potential experiment of opening the sealed battery pack compartment of the Olight Javelot Pro and seeing if we can replace the rechargeable 18650's when needed.
Perhaps a battery pack can be sent to a Volunteer Candlepower forum technician who may be able to fathom a suitable procedure for the suggested modification/hack.
The Javelot Pro seems a great Flashlight, with the only hindrance of having to replace the complete battery pack.
With the tail cap being of the older design, this may lead to a clue pointing to an older design in circuitry and polarity, such as the M2R, but we will not know until we open a battery pack compartment up.
