I'd like to remove the clip from my L4. Is there any kind of widget available that will fit in the slot the clip fits in? Without something in the slot, the "O" ring oozes out of the empty space.

PK says on a number of occasions that the attachment point is there for people to make use of. Some companies are in business just to provide accessories for things like flashlights. Lanyard attachment point, plain filler for those who don't want any clip, mountainbike handlebar mount, and other forms of attachment devices like those used on cellphones and pagers etc...
