I have Gossamer Windward III energy effiecent fans (for 2010, airfoil blades, flourescent bulbs, temperature controlled, unfortunately AC-motor):

The bottom light uses one of these bulbs (which outputs 2,800 lumens):

The ballast (
th
) died. I would like to replace the bottom light setup with LED... bypass the ballast.

Has anyone used one of these (7.5" outer diameter):

? The above item looks super simple..... like in series, which is bad if they are cheap LEDs and one died then the light will stop or the rest die shortly after due to increase voltage? Maybe they are all like that -- in series. 1) Any quality options at less than $30? I believe replacement fluorescent ballast or bulbs are around $8-15 each. I found some LED plates with 1000-1500 lumens. 2) I would like 2000+ lumens (120w equvilent incandescent bulb), if possible. I did find one that stated 2000+ lumens with 222 lumens/watt efficacy (something like 12 watt with >2400 lumens).... I don't think that is possible. Or is it? 3) Or is a $30 LED circline with 2000+ lumens unreasonable in 2020?

I found some on Amazon but it look like they are designed for magnifying glasses at 9".

4) Has anyone taken a part a round LED ceiling light and used it in a circline fixture?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Are you concerned about CRI or color temperature?

Yes to both. 80+ (although 90+ is preferred) CRI ... and 3000-2700K. Also decent efficiency ... 90+ lumens/watt (100+ preferred).
