Recently picked up a Surefire M6, but lamp is blown :^(

Looking for a standard MN20 lamp. If anyone has one available for sale, please let me know. Don't really want to go the LED route if I don't have to.

Thank you!

Re: WTB: SUREFIRE MN20 FOR M6

id30209, I am new to the M6 light. I have that TadCustoms drop in and I've been running it on my LEEF 18650x2 with the M6's turbohead. I use that Tad drop in normally for my KT1 with a 18650x2 solarforce host or other Surefire bodies on LiOn batts. My favorite is a shorty, bored 6p, 2x18350 IMR and the KT1 and Tad xenon bulb (cool light).

Ok, cool, but I am unfamiliar with FiveMega's products. Are you saying one of these bulbs will run off of six CR123A Surefire primaries? I am very late to the M6 light and would be awesome to run it off of 16650x2 or 18650x2, but I think those battery adapters are very hard or impossible to come by now, right?

Lumens Factory has a 90 CRI (their info on the website) warm LED drop in for this light that has a 6 hour runtime on primaries, but I'm trying very hard to not go LED. I much prefer to stay incan for this on rechargeable or primaries. LF also has incan drop ins, that are run on RCR123 or IMR 16340s, but I'd have to buy a load of new batteries when I have KeepPower 16650s 2500 mah (on hand) and 10A 18650s (3500mah) also.

Wish I wasn't so late to the M6.

If you already have MN Bi-pin socket or similar, then I suggest go with 3x16650 rechargeable system and use WA1331 bulb. It's a halogen with good brightness, white beam, reasonable run time and best of all, rechargeable. Therefore you will use your M6 more than before. No further modification needed.

Thanks for the info fivemega! I am in contact with the member id30209 has mentioned to me. I will most likely go the route that I currently have, however not finalized yet. I'll see how this goes.

Like Fivemega said, 3x16650 adapter is the best if you ask me. Have it and using it paired with WA1331 is absolutely best option for M6. Current draw is only 2A and you get around 1000lm (more or less).

Well....when you put it that way (carrier, amps, lumens...) that is very tempting :^)

So....

...still looking for a factory Surefire MN20 for my M6. I was bidding on some on eB, but someone had more funds than me and hoarded two lots of them. I didn't even want the full lot, I just want one lamp.

Anyone have one lamp to sell!?
