I thought it was just the boot to change that was stiffer .

I was under the impression that a o-ring is installed. I've been doing some research and found a few articles stating this.

The only oring I know of is under the boot around the button . Which is what I thought was to seal the boot

I'll try to pull it up. I went down the rabbit hole in Google. It was a article that mention placing a o-ring somewhere. And I also believe in the same article the author stated that the only way to remove a MALKOFF drop in out of the head was by destroying it.

I think it's the same mod as the Fw3a. Replacing the oring with a larger heavier one. (thickness not diameter)
