bought one from nkon which was doa. mailing it back is difficult during this time... lesson learned?

i prefer as new, but will consider all offers.

Weird. If you live in EU it should be a standard procedure to send back a faulty light and get a new one. Post shipment became slower, but it is not dead at all.
