Thank you. It's about time for one haha.

Can it? The FW he did was a mash up and only used the FW1 bezel and reflector.

Yes, the FW1 is easier as well. Like you said, converting the FW3 required switching more things out.

    Added a 2nd edit for the Mx25L4

I got a couple to play with and will sell it on my store as a stock light since I am not sure what I will be able to do for it. We will see :-)

Cons to switching to the SBT90:
Built in charger will not work. Battery will need to be removed and charged in a charger capable of charging a 21700 battery
Less run time, even more so with the 40T battery, when run on higher modes.
Light will heat up much faster, even more so with the 40T, when run on higher modes.
Price. Mod will cost more then the online store sells the Warrior X Pro for (SBT90 is pricey and the mod is difficult and very time consuming).

    Pros:
    1,300 to 1,900 more lumen!
More throw AND spill, when run on higher modes!
New driver gives you many more options instead of just high and low outputs!
You will be one of very few (most likely) that have one!

    Other:
    Beam profile will be similar.
Tint will be whiter, going from 5000k to 5700k tint.

I go back an forth on upgrading my L16vn. For me it's just not worth the losses you get for the extra lumen. Besides, I have the S200C2vn with the SBT90. What a beast!!!

I would agree with you. The S200C2 reflector works great with the sbt90. I got a p60 with it as well and Iím not sure the juice is worth the squeeze in that smaller package over a W2 for regular use. The wow factor is certainly there though.

thanks for the info , if i went with the factory battery can i retain the mag charge ? Is the sbt90 mod worth doing if you stay with the mag charge?

It's the switching out of the stock driver to VNX2, in order to work with the SBT90, that disables the onboard charging, whether than light uses a USB variation plug-in, or magnetic attachment.

My line of thinking is, if you're using the light for emergencies or SHTF situations, or just can't live without the convenience, then rethink giving up on board charging, (some exceptions apply). If the light won't be pressed into emergencies or convenience isn't the highest priority, don't worry about losing on board charging.

The significance of the L16vn90 is that it's the 'best of throw' for 39-40mm head lights. The first L16vn90 that Vinh made, which also had the 20700 mod, did 4000L & 140Kcd, prior to DeLens. After Delens, it's probably approaching 4300L & 150Kcd. It doesn't look like Vinh updated the numbers for DeLens on this light yet.

    MT07vn White 2 5400K Max Turn On Perf: 7700L, 115Kcd, 678m (44mm head)

    D4Svn White2 5400K Supercharged 5000L, 118Kcd, 697m (39mm head)

    G25C2vn SBT90 G2 5700K 3500L 120Kcd, 693m (39.5mm head)
    G25C2vn SBT90 G2 5700K Delens 3700L 130Kcd, 721m (39.5mm head)

    Olight Pro Xvn90 DeLens 4100L 135Kcd, 735m (39mm head)

    L16vn90 4000L, 140Kcd, 748m (40mm head)
    L16vn90 DeLens 4200L 150Kcd or higher (estimated) (40mm head)

    EDIT: Added reference post.
