Hi folks, in mid 2014 Oveready/Illumn/Illumination Station worked with HDS to offer a run of 219B clickies here on CPF. These were delayed a bit by a bad batch of reflectors, and their rated output was changed from 140 lumens at 90+ CRI to 170 lumens at 85+ CRI. Does anyone remember the color temp of those emitters? I can't find it on my order form, but a post from the time says that they're NVSL219BT with tint bin SW45 and efficiency bin D220. Google tells me those are 4500K, but I'd trust CPF enthusiasts more than Google. :p

I'm also wondering if battery compartments/bodies have changed since then. I'm considering getting one of the SS40 HiCRI lights with an 18650 body, but am hoping to be able to switch the bodies as desired (e.g. have the 2014 219B head on the 2020 18650 body). Would that work, or have the specs changed since then?

Thanks!

Hey. I have a 170n. Sw45 is indeed 4500k....and bodies are the same/ interchangeable with the current models.

Thanks! Now to see if I can convince my wife that this light will benefit both of us.
