I figured a new thread might be in order for this information as times are all over the place and it would be easier if they were all in one spot. I'll post what I have in a bit. Let me know if you don't like this idea.

RUNTIMES

2XAA Duracell alkaline 93 hours at 50 hours it was down to the low level of my Malkoff's single AA gradually tapering down till the 93 hour mark.

3X123- 40-50 hours had a suspicion I had a bad cell. But went 40 hours on 3 cells another 9 on 2 remaining cells

1 X18650/3500 on high. Declining output -61 hours
To my eye it was full or dam near full output up to hour 53. Steady decline till hour 61. I ended test ending volt 2.75

2XAA eneloop pros In a elzetta Charlie. At 14 hours it was dim. Maybe 1 lumen if that but in total darkness it was good out to 3-4 feet. Figured that was that but it stayed at that level till hour 36 when I ended test. Definitely no good past that. Ending volts 1.3 each.

1X18650/3500 MD2@@ ON LOW
17-19 MA draw.

Ok guys it's 264 hours "11 days"an I'm going to stop it here. It is still on and In a completely dark room I can very easily read or walk around with. I.e. still very useful. But I think we get the point. These Dropins will last A LONG TIME! Probably longer then you would ever need.Im going to say it was on full "low" power for 150-175 hours then a very slow decline. And as I say still usable right up till the end. If you have a Malkoff single AA that to my eyes is where it is now at end of test.

Update so I stopped the timer and low level test and switched to hi just to see what would happen. Well it went to high looked like full high and has been there for 5 hours! Incredible. The draw on high must be 4 times what it is on low so I'm thinking she had a long way to go on low when I ended the test. Maybe days. These things are nuts and imo the last word in versatile bombproof long running Dropins. Ending volts 2.7.

I ran 2xaa amazon basics (alkaline) in a G3 with a Z59 tailcap. After 113 hours it hit a sublumen level that most would no longer find useful so I ended there. Cheap batteries, great runtimes!!!

Ya lol. We did a single 123 and a 3X123. Jumped right over her. Oh well lots of time left
My 18650 on low is over 95 hours and comparing to my other 4L it is still on full low power

It seems like the single cells is the way to go with this module .

And honestly I couldn't be happier with that outcome .

I ran a 1x123 test and the light was down to 1L at about 76 hours. At 82 hours it was way less than that and probably would have run for a few more hours at that level, but decided to end that test at that point.

Seriously, thanks to all that are testing and reporting results. Pretty sure this thread will be a key factor for another GB one day😁
