Hard to do smaller for a single-AA light than the Nitecore EZ-AA model.

But it's been discontinued for years and the twist mechanism was not always the most reliable. Loved the U.I. though. I still have mine.

My favorite AA light was an Eagtac D25a "twisty" that you cannot find anymore. It was super compact, one of my most efficient AA lights, and had a great beam with decent throw. I lost it years ago. Most AA lights use XML emitters that don't have a good beam in my opinion - too floody. My current favorite AA is the Fenix E12.

I have the Lumitop 2.0 and think the beam is too floody.

When comparing the "size" of a light, I also look at the weight

I think the Eagletac D25 sounds like the Lightest with screwed on clip

24 grams = EagleTac D25a Clicky, pocket clip is screwed on, lowest mode 2 lumens

24 grams = Lumintop AA Tool, pocket clip not screwed on, lowest mode 4 lumens

28.5 grams = Fenix E12, no pocket clip, lowest mode 8 lumens

40 grams = Zebra SC53, pocket clip is screwed on, lowest mode 0.01 lumens
