There was some discussion of anti-roll hex heads for Malkoffs. I have a small machine shop and I have been doing Malkoff related machine projects for many years so I made a prototype head. You can see it here --> https://www.candlepowerforums.com/v...knock-off)-Malkoff-Anti-Roll-Hex-Head-(MARHH)
Some people have asked me to sell these...so here we are....a group buy.

I asked Gene at Malkoff before starting this and he said it was OK.

If I can get 15 people to commit to buy these at $55 each plus $5 shipping per order, I will make a run of 15 and get them HAIII anodized black. These will be made in my shop by me just like the prototype above.
Once 15 people sign up, and send money (paypal -- Please include a note with your CPF handle with payment), I will make them. It will take 2-3 weeks between payment and shipping because it takes time to make a custom product and get time/space at the local anodize shop for a small batch like this. Final product will be black and just be the head (no drop in, no lens, no gasket, no retaining ring). I Assume people who buy these will just replace the head on an existing Malkoff MD1/2/3/4 flashlight that they already own. If you need the lens, gasket, ring, drop in, or even the flashlight itself, I highly recommend you get them from https://malkoffdevices.com/

I will make them in opening sizes that each buyer wants. Post "I am in" with the size opening you want (16.5, 22.3, or custom size) in this thread and I will put your name on the list.
Please don't commit to buy and then back out.

i like the bare metal look of the non-anodized head, would it be possible to get it raw? Would that effect the price?

You can get one raw.

It won't effect the price. I am still having to pay the minimum batch price for anodizing, so getting 14 of the 15 anodized will cost me the same as getting all 15 done.

Thanks Martin. They look great. Should have no problem getting the numbers you need. If you ever make any out of SS I'd love one. Be heavy as hell but that's ok with me😁

You know the more I look at the work that will go into these by doing them by hand I'm guessing it's close to 1 1/2 hours per. The price is very fair. Thank you 😊

Thank you for that. It is heart warming when people understand the value of ones time, and the 1000's of hours spent in the past learning a skill without getting a single cent for it.

I'm down for a 22.3.

If you ever make a 21700 body that would go with these, I'm imagining a one-piece body/tail like the old MDs for simplicity, I would be SUPER down to pick one of those up as well. Heck maybe even ore than one.

Just throwin' it out there.

A 21700 body with a 4L in the head. Oh my! With a single lithium cell the low on the hi/lo Ring will work just fine. This could just be the ultimate SHTF light. Runtimes would be huge. There already fantastic with a 3500mah. A 21700 is what 5000?

Oh. I'm in for one. Just Incase you didn't get it😁
