I just received this flashlight from Country Comm. It is very similar to the FW3A from Lumintop, but noticeably thicker and beefier. It has the exact same pocket clip. Functionality is limited to 45 modes, low, med, high, turbo, and moon mode.

This looks cool. Might have to pick one up when they get back in stock.

How's the switch action? Firmer than the FW3A or the same?

I suspect it is the same switch and internals as the FW3a

my guess is, Maratac lights are special batch orders, built by lumintop,
with specified retooling of the exterior of the host.

from photos and the description, the tri flood is an FW3A with thicker tail and head (they describe it as "chunky")
weighs 89 grams empty

the FW3A weighs 53 grams empty

the Maratac page describes the light as having Anduril firmware.

Like the Lumintop FW3A, Noctigon KR4, and Emissar D4
they all work the same, collect them All! :grouphug:

Got mine last night, the 18650 out of my ThruNite flashlight barely fits in it and the light will briefly light up when screwing on the head but that's it. nothing once it's all the way on. the other 18650 battery I have won't even go in the light without it tearing the plastic wrapper off the battery. The wrapper was tearing I was not taking it off.
