LED Spotlight for night fishing

Hello,

I recently purchased a deep cycle battery, inverter and craftsman LED 9000 lumen work light to illuminate the water at night on local jettys to attract fish.

The lights are bright, but don't give much penetration to the water, so I am looking to add a spotlight With a narrower beam to the array.

The brighter the better, needs to be LED to conserve power. It also needs to run on 12v or a standard plug on my inverter.

any recommendations?

Streamlight Waypoint. The basic 4c model will run on 4c or 12 volt plug in. Very narrow beam, very long range. Probably good for finding channel markers. Well reviewed. Less than 40 bucks now. A bargain.

I recently picked up this 5000 lumen headlamp and I have to say - it's absolutely amazing. The range and brightness is astonishing. And it's cheap. It would work well for what you're describing. Unfortunately it's not 12V, and you have to buy special batteries and a charger. I realize the light looks and sounds gimmicky...it's actually pretty amazing.

I havn't tried the LED lights on my boat. I had a halogen light mounted on my boat to aid with navigation. I mounted mine on the side of the trolling motor bracket. I drilled a hole through the "O" in the word MotorGuide so when I took it off the boat you couldn't see the hole. I have used some of the Rigid Dually (for them I took online payday loans in MI) lights before on other things, and they are very bright. Not a 100%, but I don't think you can run a constant foward projecting light while underway on the water, due to blinding other boaters.

How long range spot light you are looking for??
