I was able to improve the beam focus substantially on the amazon 55W HID. The beam is about as symmetrical as its going to get. Here are some before and after beamshots as well as a beamshot VS my K75vn90. Before i was getting 1.3 mcd and now i am getting 1.5 million cd. Its close to the k75VN90 in throw. Its actually closer then the beamshots indicate. The k75 just throws more total light down range so it does seam more impressive however hotspot intensity is similar. Also the HID does not suffer from the slight donut hole effect the K75 has. Which is a plus for HID. Hid is very sensitive to beam focus. It took a few tries to get the beam this good.

Good job man!

HIDs just make me giggle when all that light is down range.
