Alaric - who makes a decent 796? All I find are CEC bulbs, not sure how good/bad they are. Thx.

Gotcha.
I keep switching between the good Philips X-Treme red 1157s for tail/brake + Philips X-Treme white 1156s for backups, and Stanley 3496s + 796s for the same function, as I don't like the color temp of the white Philips 1156s LOL.
I can't tell if the Stanley 3496s are as visually bright on the brake as the red Philips X-Treme 1157s, your thoughts?
