What happened to surefire's QC？

this is a $600 M952V weapon light, and can not point straight forward when mounted on an AR rail... :shakehead

Have you contacted SF customer service? What was their response? Mistakes happen, it's not just limited to them. I'm sure they'll make it right.

What happened?.... PK left the company.

Still, even the best sometimes have a product sneak by Quality Control. Yeah, contact SF and give them an opportunity to make things right. They likely will.

Ouch. Can't say I've seen too much of that kind of stuff out of surefire before. I have one on nearly everything, none being your specific light. Hopefully they will replace it no questions asked for that kind of money.
