Is the H604w neutral particularly cool?

I just received an H604w, and the tint is so cool I think they sent me an H604 by mistake. There are no markings on the light to tell, other than the "CE". I assume that's normal for Zebralight HLs?

I have a couple of other neutral XHP35 lights from other makers and the temperature is quite fine. Are these lights usually cooler, or is it just bad luck this time? If this is what to expect, I'm inclined to exchange for a -d or -c model. I'd rather it be too warm than too cool.

Edit: looking at the specs again, the nominal temp for the 604w is even lower than I misremembered: 4500K, not 5000K, so it has to be the wrong light. Even I'm not dumb enough to be that confused.

I'd like to retract that last statement. I ordered another H604w and it's the same as the first one. They both have a sickly character to them. Maybe I've just been using warmer lights for too long.

Well, it may have taken some time and effort, but at least you ended up with something good.
