[FONT="]I am trying to get some equality for disabled people re UK housing.[/FONT]
[FONT="]The government makes it a requirement for new builds that there must be a certain percentage of affordable housing within a new development. However, for some reason if like me you're disabled and need accessible features wet room and wheelchair accessible kitchen etc your bang out of luck! I believe it has been far too long that the vast majority of disabled people are left to they own devices and not given any government assistance when it comes to finding suitable housing.[/FONT]
