modding questions on a convoy c8

to start im brand new to trying and build a flashlight .
mods if this isnt allowed please forgive me
this would be my first time

my question is
can i use a convoy c8 host with these products

trying to build for walking dog in a really remote location at night ,country in the sticks , so maybe some spill instead of throw

as far as I know, it doesnt work with the c8, because it doesnt have a hole in the middle, where you could put the cables of the LED- star through. You would either need to drill a hole in the host, or get a different emitter.
Also the reflector for the C8 only supports single emitter setups, so you would need a new reflector as well. The driver also doesnt work with the LED, because it has min 5V and the LEDs are configured in parallel, but I am not completly sure about the last part

Any of the builds of that drive support a 3V LED.
