Olight M2R pro

Hi guys, first post.

i have recently acquired the olight M2r pro warrior after owning several fenix lights in the pd series. I find the olight's build quality pretty good, however i have noticed that the hotspot is not uniform. There are some artifacts/shadows in the hotspot and the beam is not the perfectly round beam like the fenixs' i am used to. The abave issue can be demonstrated when pointing the light to a flat surface from a short distance. I don't know if its the unit i got or if its a typical TIR lens behaviour. It may not affect performance but its rather dissapointing considering the price tag.

While the beam on my M2R Pro isn't "perfect" like a beam from a light with an orange peel reflector, there's nothing really distracting about the beam on mine. It's possible maybe the LED in yours isn't centered in the optic or something. Have you contacted Olight yet?
