hello,

I have a TI50G flashlight i received as a gift. I recently noticed when shaken, the modes shift...
-All retainer rings have been tightened.
-Its been tested without the clicker switch and still shifts through modes when shaken
-I replaced the driver and it still has the same symptoms.
-the battery has been taped to prevent it from sliding inside.

i cannot figure out how to remove the pill and examine the LED or the wiring to the LED but based on the symptoms, it didnt point to wiring/LED issues.

Any other ideas how to resolve this issue?

Is the light designed to change modes by repeatedly tapping the switch? If so then the circuitry is looking for breaks in power to indicate clicks and then responds by changing the mode. My guess is when you are shaking it you are probably compressing the spring inside enough to momentarily break contact/power so the light thinks you're clicking the switch. You could try putting a longer or stiffer spring inside, or stretching the existing one out a bit. Or don't shake it. Haha
