Hi,

My father is looking for charger that will solely be used for his Eneloops.
He got SC4 and for some reason he doesn't like using it, mainly because he find it hard to get them aligned in there.

Any recommendation ?

Panasonic bq cc 17, simple and easy to use. Very reliable.

+1 for the BQ-CC17. I have four of them (got in various Eneloop kits). Great chargers, if you don't mind waiting a few hours for cells to finish.

Saw that one at lygte-info, but the slow comment stopped me.

I have a Sony wall wart just like this. Even has a discharge or cell refresh function. Even now with much fancier chargers in the closet this is the one I grab 99% of the time for nimh cells.

There are similar chargers to the BQ-CC17 that charge much faster. Google Panasonic eneloop chargers to get to their website for them. I have an older model (which was then Sanyo) that does up to 2000mA (AA) and 800mA (AAA). So, charging only takes about an hour. Very fast, but probably a bit hard on the batteries, so I don't use it much. You might like something like the BQ-CC55 or BQ-CC65.
