Fenix LR40R

Hi Everyone,

Just received a new Fenix LR40R and was using it last night. It sure is an impressive torch for shear light output but the spot beam is not too good. Do I have a faulty unit, in the centre of the spot beam it is yellow, like a yellow inner circle. Could live with this but after paying over £250 I would like a unit which is fault free, is this a common problem or a trait on the more powerful lights ?

Giving is a picture would go a long way to identify any potential problems.
Could also be worth to contact Fenix directly and ask them, I believe their support staff is well liked and should be helpful.

Yes will put on a picture when i get home, but looking at some pictures online although not clear but some show the yellow centre.
