Default Quark slate blue, gotta have it

Anyone here excited about the new Foursevens quark in slate blue color? I am also excited that it comes with a 319a 4000k emitter. Wonder when it will be available?

319A is 85CRI emitter where 219C usually is 90CRI. Additionally it has aprox 12-18% more output than 219C and itís hexagonal die gives the best looking beam in reflectors or aspherics.

The 319A in the slate blue are 90+ CRI, while the 319A in the other Quarks are 80+ CRI.

The 319A is capable of higher output than the 219C but also has a larger die so has less throw more flood.

Unfortunatelly there are no 90CRI 319A...
Die is marginally bigger and iíd dare to say itís not. It is thrower for sure.
I have several builds as singles and triples. Outperformes 219C in any combination

SLATE BLUE SPECIAL EDITION: 90+ CRI (4000K) NICHIA 319A (LIMITED TO 500 PCS)

This is kind of a big deal
We are the first flashlight manufacturer to have access to the brand new 90+ CRI Nichia 319A! The new 319A officially launched this month, but we got early access so we could put these into production ahead of the official release. Boom! In fact, Nichia said they were NOT going to make a 90 CRI version of the 319, but after months of begging and pleading...something happened. I'm not sure what, but now we've got the ultimate flashlight LED.

If I was a betting-man, I'd bet against any redesigns coming soon ....... if ever.

The best pocket clips on the market period: Pocket clips are my jam because I obsess about every detail, because every detail matters. The new clip is made from thicker material, provides easier pocketing, and improved grip. Most of the "grip" on a flashlight comes from the pocket clip, not the surface finish.

Spoke too soon, i read the same on DS site after my comment lol..
The clip appears well designed and functional while clipped into pocket. However, I wonder how that monstrosity feels in hand grip during use?

I think if you liked the former, you'll like the new n improved. It's kinda the same .... only beefier.

No, not so much that I've noticed. Depending on the purchase at hand, it sometimes makes a nice stop.

The two Lovely Mrs Williams sure are understanding of my desire to post before and after A Thanksgiving Dinner that couldn't be beat. The three of us just finished the dishes.

Does it come with OP reflector?
Why optional, added cost, for TiR optics and lenses?

    Because more costs more.

Did you notice they're included in the 20% OFF SALE?

Brand new, limited quantity, lights and they're included in the sale. HOLY CYBER MONDAY, BATMAN!

Ordered!!!!! If you guys want a laugh, just two weeks ago I had Vinh mod one with a 4000k SST-20 led. I love this light and wanted a 4000k version. Normally Iíd wait to see how the LED turns out (rosy/ yellow/ green) but with this being only 500 pieces and 20% off, I didnít want to wait. Anxious to check it out. The 319s seem to be yellow-ish and not 219b rosy if I remember correctly but I donít want to make assumptions on this new LED. Excited to see a 90+ CRI version in 4000k.

Anyone who ordered one have testing equipment to measure the color temp, etc? Thanks.

I kept looking to see if Jason had made a blue plastic ring for tail standing. Guessing no since nothing was mentioned and no ring was shown in the product photos. I like the functionality enough that Iím installing it even if thereís a color mismatch (black ring clip on blue light).
