Anyone here excited about the new Foursevens quark in slate blue color? I am also excited that it comes with a 319a 4000k emitter. Wonder when it will be available?

What sorcery is this you speak of? I don't get excited about lights too often but you've piqued my interest. Thanks for the heads up

319A is 85CRI emitter where 219C usually is 90CRI. Additionally it has aprox 12-18% more output than 219C and it's hexagonal die gives the best looking beam in reflectors or aspherics.

The 319A in the slate blue are 90+ CRI, while the 319A in the other Quarks are 80+ CRI.

The 319A is capable of higher output than the 219C but also has a larger die so has less throw more flood.

Unfortunatelly there are no 90CRI 319A...
Die is marginally bigger and i'd dare to say it's not. It is thrower for sure.
I have several builds as singles and triples. Outperformes 219C in any combination

SLATE BLUE SPECIAL EDITION: 90+ CRI (4000K) NICHIA 319A (LIMITED TO 500 PCS)

This is kind of a big deal ;)
We are the first flashlight manufacturer to have access to the brand new 90+ CRI Nichia 319A! The new 319A officially launched this month, but we got early access so we could put these into production ahead of the official release. Boom! In fact, Nichia said they were NOT going to make a 90 CRI version of the 319, but after months of begging and pleading...something happened. I'm not sure what, but now we've got the ultimate flashlight LED.

Sure hope Jason plans to redesign that clumsy looking pocket clip

If I was a betting-man, I'd bet against any redesigns coming soon ....... if ever. ;)

The best pocket clips on the market period: Pocket clips are my jam because I obsess about every detail, because every detail matters. The new clip is made from thicker material, provides easier pocketing, and improved grip. Most of the "grip" on a flashlight comes from the pocket clip, not the surface finish.

Spoke too soon, i read the same on DS site after my comment lol..
The clip appears well designed and functional while clipped into pocket. However, I wonder how that monstrosity feels in hand grip during use?
