I just received a Convoy XHP70.2 led torch & it's a good quality Chinese torch which exceeded my expectations. It was a big upgrade from my XML torches.
On the official Cree website the XHP70.2 which I guess stands for generation2 is in the range.
I have an XHP70 dive torch too & the LED dies are spaced a little further apart, however is not an issue as it came with an orange peel reflector to give a nice beam.
However what's confusing me Is I'm now seeing XHP90, XHP90.2, XHP90.3 & XHP100 on AliExpress, The XHP100 having either x4 or x9 dies, yet cannot seem to find either spec's of the 90 series or 100 series LEDS on the Cree website?
Which makes me question, are these LEDs genuine or aftermarket replica's?
Do they really have the Lumens outputs stated & are they brighter than the XHP70.2?
I would like a bit more insight into the XHP range, hence thought I'd ask the pro's here.
I've also just ordered a SBT90 Gen2 type torch, It will be my first Thrower, so hoping Ile be as pleased with that as I am my first Convoy.
