Looking for a travel charger that can handle AA/AAA NiMH as well as 16340 and 18650 (21700 and 26650 would be great). Single cell would be fine, something like a Nitecore F1 but that does NiMH as well. Does such a beast exist?

The Olight UC is the most compact charger but lacks the powerbank feature. The Armytek Handy C1 Pro is similar to the F1 and also does NiMH.

As parametrek the Olight UC is the most compact that can do both Li-ion and NiMH.
If you want a charger that has a bed and can also act as a powerbank, then try the Klarus K1X which is just a little bigger than the F1
