Ok, so i have this camping light (Fenix CL25) i bought a few years ago (2 - 4 years not quite sure), and this ARB-L2 battery came with it.
Yesterday i decided to upgrade the battery in it (enerpower 3400mah). Got the enerpower cell in the mail, and just for fun i put them both in the Opus 3400 to measure the capacity.
Enerpower 3400mah: 3281mah, so this is right.
Fenix 2300: 2555mah. So... this must be wrong, right?

I did the charge test modus with 1a charging and discharging.

Can anybody tell me something?

Not necessarily wrong at all as it is quite possible Fenix used 2600mah 18650s in their battery instead of 2300 cells as they couldn't get the 2300 variety as cheaply. Typically batteries are rated within a percentage range of listed capacity and if they are below the rated capacity then you could complain but being way over that rating is not a bad thing.

Aha, the fenix battery is pretty good then, keeping its power after all the use and those years.
I sent a complain about the enerpower battery, will see what they reply.

Thanks mr. Arc

The enerpower battery is probably within specs as it is less than 5% off I think which most batteries seem to be rated at.
