Really the flooder to have. Finally a light that is more desirable to me than the X80GTvn.
Sorry the modded SDCE version is so expensive but its a pain to build.
The Stock XHP50.2 and SST40 are both wonderful though

Agree, appears to be a great light. Why do you like it better than the X80GTvn?

At what output could you run the XHP 50.2 for say 1 hour without excessive heat?

Also I have read getting the right size batteries can be difficult. What batteries do you recommend?

Thanks

Agree, appears to be a great light. Why do you like it better than the X80GTvn? The triangular 3 cell body make the light noticeably smaller and easier to pocket and hold. I also prefer the Ui although Acebeam is good too.

At what output could you run the XHP 50.2 for say 1 hour without excessive heat? Some 2000 mark is my guess. I have not tested this.

Also I have read getting the right size batteries can be difficult. What batteries do you recommend? Stock, Lg 3500mah and Vtc5D all work fine.

X80GTvn is still brighter but much hotter and pricier.

I like this light enough that if price was irrelevant I would still pick this light over the X80GTvn.

Thanks

Vinh,

You indicate the X80GT is much hotter. Is this only at high output levels?

I would have thought the X80GT at any given level would be cooler as it is slightly bigger. Is there another factor which makes it run hotter than the Manker?

Would either of these lights get uncomfortable running 1K lumens for long periods? I notice in another thread you were running the X80GT at 4K lumens for long periods.

Thanks
