More details would help people help you. What does "big" mean? Big in size? Output? Throw? What will it be used for? What is your budget? Does battery or charging options matter to you? Etc. Etc. The more you can define your needs, the better suggestions you will get. Happy hunting!

Edit: Typing at the same time as my friend Arch it seems. Haha

If you specify a budget range and an output range (lm, cd, etc) , as well as perhaps examples of your intended use case, you may get better advice here.

The current budget reigning champions are gonna be the BLF GT4, BLF GT94, Astrolux MF05, and the Firefoxes FF5. Most of the smaller lights like you mentioned in the op cannot sustain those high output for any significant amount of time before overheating.

Magio mentions some truly great lights in the post above.

Also, I both have and like X45, MF05, MT90, 2 x X65, 2 x HK90, MS18, R90TS, K75, D18 W2, MS06 and 2 x BLF GT94. My favorite is BLF GT94. I got two of them. GT94 has both a very, very exciting beam profile and beam performance.

Recommended by those in the know, but I don't have yet: X70.

There are more than a few others. In the past few years, I have build my own lengthy database of big lights. I have organized the list by throw and also by lumens.

King of led throwers: MF05/MT90.

King of power flooders: MS18.

King of power throwers: R90TS and BLF GT94.

There are many others.

Wow! Richbuff this could be a true mimic of the powerful cruise ship or naval ship searchlights! I saw the video on YouTube and just one of these can reach and light up anything.
Two of these powered on at the same time! Yes!

Hi search_and_rescue,

You would absolutely love it! Mine are real performance lights #41 and #42:

41. BLF Lumintop GT94 Oct 19, 2020. 4 x SBT90.2, 8 x 18650 button top. 20,000 lumen, 2450 meter. LOP. After a four year wait, the first light that has both more throw and more lumens than the X65.

42. Another BLF GT94 Nov. 13, 2020. 4 x SBT90.2, 8 x 18650 button top. Smooth reflector. Arrived 14 days after I ordered it. This one is so I can have one in each hand, and feel the exhilaration.

Vinh mod became available May 27, 2012. I might just get my third one from him.

Do you have your light list posted? You would probably like other power throwers: R90TS and HK90.

Hi Richbuff, I was struggling with illness for a few years and I'm finally well enough now to enjoy things. Yes I have acquired the Imalent R90TS for two reasons. 1. I notice the CREE XHP35 HI is being phased out of a lot of Manufacturers lineup. I know the Luminus is way more intense but I do have a fondness for the XHP35 HI especially five, nine, or 18 of them. 2. I saw a video review and this R90TS is like a stadium light. It's intense enough that I can shut off the bright LED streetlight from my backyard. Believe me that is very telling and quite a feat. Ha-ha.
