Considering pulling the trigger on an Acebeam L35.

Been searching far and wide and have gotten conflicting answers. Will this light function properly with unprotected flat tops? Specifically the Samsung 40T?

It takes flat top cells.

I purchased a L35 last fall. There are standard springs in the head & tail.
Whoever said it didn't, doesn't own one.

Nice/interesting light

Sure,
I have used Samsung 50E & 40T 21700s' in it.

Very good & unique light that has a great Moon mode, no pwm anywhere.
Turbo is a big amount of illumination~Neutral tint.

Enjoy using the L35, that's not always the case w/ some lights.
