Re: Manker E14 III 4000 Lm Mini EDC LED Flashlight with USB Type-C Rechargeable Batte

You got a great deal! Just got one and I wanted to ask if you notice if the Manker 18350 battery little green led on top stays on after you remove the charging cable? I had a problem initially with this battery after a full charge (green light) and USB inline meter showed 0.0 current draw I removed it and a voltmeter (Fluke 77) was reading the voltage bouncing between 3.34 and 3.68 volts. Should have been about 4.1 to 4.2 volts if fully charged and should be steady. I even put it on an oscilloscope and the voltage was bouncing with a lot of 'noise' about once per second. It wouldn't even allow the light to turn on but after some fiddling with a couple more charges it started working. However it seems odd the green led on the battery stays on all the time.

Sorry, I don't know anything about that. I have this with all packed up and ready to ship so I really don't want to crack it open and retest it. The one I did tested it seem to work fine

Are you shipping it back because of a problem? Thanks for the quick reply. I simply was interested in whether that little green light stays on after unplugging it for the most part. No real problem though....

No, not shipping it back to manker. There's nothing wrong with it, it's fine. I don't think it's fair to order an item to try it out and then send it back. So I'll just sell it myself. It's a fine light.

By the way, it doesn't seem odd to me that that green light would stay on for a while after the charging. After all, the battery can easily power that little green light for a very long time.
