Hi All,

Am looking at a flooder which can sustain 2,000 to 3,000 lumen for at least 1 hour without generating excessive heat (still comfortable to hold for long walks).

I am looking at Manker MK 34II, Acebeam X80 and Thrunite TN 36. I assume all 3 could provide the output but which one would run the coolest? Any thoughts?

Any other recommendations. Thanks.

Olight Marauder 2 but may be $$ and proprietary battery.

What about Fenix LR40R???

Easier buttons/menus. Doubles as usb power pack.

Anything making 2k lumens for long times will generate heat. If you want the coolest possible... go for the newest emitters. They tend to be more efficient.

The lights which use cells in series don't have to boost pack voltage to the emitter. It's more temp efficient to trim voltage down than boost it.
