I've discovered (by mistake last year)
something that should be a Hidden
and Undocumented "Standby Mode"

For the purpose of next explanations
we define this common terminology :

A normal switch click (down < 0.2 s)
will be denote a "Fast Click"

Example: Turning On/Off

A shortly (down for ≈0.2 sec to ≈1 s)
sustained click as a "Short Click"

Example: To Check battery status
anytime when light is on
(and not only at start up)
★ Undocumented ( ?? )

And a longly (down for > 1 sec) one
will be denote as a "Long Click"

Example: Turning on in moonlight
mode or cycling modes

----------- ★ Standby Mode ---------------

This special mode seems intended
to maintenance and preparation of
emergency & safety equipments by
dedicated technician

With flashlight off; Double Click with
pushing down until low power ( red )
led lights on then Fast Click !

Flashlight will light ≈ 4 seconds for
a test with power/battery indicators
(to show you setting/status) prior
to activate his "Standby Mode"

---- With Standby Mode activated ----

Fast Click to show power mode and
battery status for ≈ 1 second and
exit Standby Mode (ready for use)

First Short Click show power mode
and battery status for ≈ 8 seconds
next use to show only battery status
but can do as many times as desired

Long Click to exit Standby Mode and
turn on light from memorised mode
(don't go directly to moonlight mode)

Double Click to exit Standby Mode
and activate Turbo mode

Trible Click to exit Standby Mode
and activate Stroboscope

Standby Mode can be reach from any
moon/low/med/high memorised mode
and Strobe too ( ?? ) with respect to
current memorised mode

Reaching Standby Mode from Turbo
will change the memorised mode for
High mode

------- ★ Optional Location Led ---------

If you try to reach the Standby Mode
from moonlight and releasing switch
for ≈ 1 sec after red led lights on and
then Fast Click you will go to Standby
Mode with an optional Location Led
using Low Mode led (until next click)

Enjoy !

P.s. When experimenting differents
switch clicks combinations i've
obtained a special result which
i remain unable to reproduce or
understand ( maybe #Version )

---------------------------
------- x ----- x --------
---- o ----------- o ---- x = on
---- o ----------- x ---- o = off
------- o ----- o -------
---------------------------

If you experiment similar result
or new undocumented features
Please .. Let us Know ! ( Here )

played around with your instructions but I wasn't successful replicating the sequences
described above to produce the easter egg features. i was only able to activate the
switch lockout mode as described in my product sheet s/n #J0415383

I don't master English language ..Then
it's possible i've made some mistakes
in my last explanations .. Let me know

To profit of these "easter egg features" !

Both sequences (Standby/St+Location)
can be executed from any power mode
(strobe too) but "With Flashlight Off" so
you select desired power mode turn off
flashlight and then execute sequence

I never try this trick on other flashlight
(mine is Seeker 2 Pro s/n J093033xx)

It could be interesting to know if it work
with Seeker 2 and other Olight Models
from Baton and Warrior series too ..

This reminds me of those sequential moves we used to enter into video games to unlock secret things.

My lights are so much simpler, just the way I like it.

Don't worry ! .. A Double Click followed
by a Single Click is not a brain puzzle !

For your information :

• Olight Seeker 2 Pro use the simplest
operating interface with one click on
and push to cycle modes like many
other brands

• His Standby mode can be use to see
his 0utput Mode & Battery Status with
a Single Click prior to take it for job
without having to light on flashlight
(military/police/rescue/paramedic)

I don't see in your flashlight list one
that can be light on in a simple way
or having a similar Standby Mode or
same 21700 battery class

So .. I can't find the relevance of your
reply to inform us your preference for
simple lights over one you don't know
with different size output and utility in
a titled "Standby Mode" thread

Your flashlight list contains some
good small lights but lacks Olight
brand models

Mine contains enough to know than
<< All Brands have Pro's & Con's ! >>

If you plan to buy a real one i'm sure
you will be astonished fist time you
will put Seeker 2 Pro in your hand
