Retrofit bike taillight with LED-technology

I wonder how are the odds to find on market 1-LED mini electronic board + electronics on same board powering LED from 2x NiMH rechargeable (micro, mignon, AA, AAA) to buy yet fitting to bike bulb taillight case as shown on linked picture (light red lucent plastic cover removed) - retrofit. Size, number of and chemistry of used rechargeables can very as long as it fits to light case and used 1-LED board. Max LED power as in case of 1-LED bike taillight lamps on market.
Retrofit instead of solution from market in order to not value up the bike. Bike has in its current condition that great advantage it incites no desire on foreign side.
