Polarion released a new series of LED lights in past 12 months. SL series in 5W, 8W and 10 W. Working with chip manufacturers, they also released an 8W UV version that complements their NET40 HID UV light. For clean room manufacturing, forensics and mineralogy. The 1700 mW flux is enough for most applications. LEDs are top of the line made by Seoul Semiconductor.

If it doesn't have a filter it's OK for curing adhesive, but crappy for rock hunting or anything else where you want to observe florescence. Don't know why they don't include them on most 365nm lights? The filters can be bought at Aliexpress.

I agree completely. It's being advertised for mineralogy and this really needs a filter. It's all about the contrast, especially if you're looking for stuff like scheelite.
