I am really pleased that Fenix went to the trouble of certifying this for the US and EU markets. Some other chinese vendors only get the chinese certifications and that makes them impossible to recommend.
However this is Fenix's 1st intrinsically safe light with charging. Not the 1st ever. (There are already 25 intrinsically safe lights with charging in the database.)
