Hi all..
Looking through my Maglite spares box a while back, I noticed an unusual switch cover. If you turn a usual one upside down it's concave on the inside, like a cereal bowl. This one had a rubber stem moulded in which contacts the white switch tube inside. It gets rid of that long jouney your thumb has to make before it activates the switch! Seems like a good idea- wondered why it's not more common. I usually mod mine by placing a short domed head screw into the switch tube for the same effect.
