Noticeable difference between Zevo 3157 (RED) & OSRAM 3557R (RED)

I've searched here to see if the difference I noticed between these bulbs was ever mentioned, but I didn't see anything.

I noticed there's a difference between the ZEVO 3157 (vs.) the OSRAM 3557R (P27/7W).

The OSRAM's LED is deeper inside with a shrouded housing around the LED (vs.) the ZEVO is un-shrouded.

- Are these the same bulb types, and LED's?

- Why are both bulbs marked 3557R...is that an internal mfg. bulb identifier?

- Seems like the ZEVO would have a wider light distribution and/or the OSRAM is more focused and narrow?

- Any expert explanation between the 2 for others to consider, & is one better than the other in certain applications?

Because they are the same bulb, just photographed and packaged/marketed differently.
