Hi,

I'm not looking for something fancy but reliable.
Needs:
- Cheap
- Uses 18650 cells
- Safe with unprotected cells

That's all.

I'm in Spain.

TIA.

This must be pretty important to make you post…lol
Hopefully someone comes along with far more product knowledge than me.

I imagine Convoy S2 will be mentioned

LOL

I'm was/am interested in batteries and chargers when I subscribed. I came to learn, nothing to share, my knowledge was very poor.
Some days ago I was looking for a new charged and the SKYRC MC3000 thread bring me here again. Then I discovered I subscribed on 2009. Guinness record for sure.
I hope I have now more to share with you, fellow users.

It blinks to indicate low voltage and only operates in very low outputs as near as I can say since I tested it with a pair of NiMh AA cells that were only around 2.4 volts. When I say very low output I mean that even in turbo, normally 1k lumens, on 2.4 volts it only put out about 10 lumens. Maybe less.

You're a psychic :poke: I came here just to mention it. Well, the S2+, but you get the idea.

But yea, the S2+. It's very simple and rugged, doesn't drain much power (especially with lower-power drivers), and can take basically every 18650 under the sun. If ordered with a 4-mode driver, the UI is super simple too.
