im wondering if this sorry excuse for a lens can be replaced? mine is horrible! not just surface scratches but grooves in the lens! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/faint.gif anyone else have a bad lens in their UK e-led?

if im switching i figure i might as well get an upgraded like a UCL or something..........

Both my UK 4aa lights have crappy lenses as well. It appears as though UK only did a semi-buttocked polishing job on the plastic, leaving in a lot of pits and grooves. And one lens has surface scratches on top of that. The only good thing I can say is that it doesn't seem to affect the light output. I guess it's a corner they cut to achieve a low price.
