Sold/Expired a few lights to compare to

POST MOVED TO HOMEMADE & MODIFIED LIGHTS
Hi,
sooner or later I will be creating custom flashlight prototypes, I have one important question for the forum:

To which light should I compare my creations to?

- single 5mm led
- multiple 5 led
- luxeon 1, 3 & 5

and regarding size?

Please consider the following, if 2 lights share the same output tell me the less expensive one.

is this really needed or a simple Meterman LM631 mcd output is enough?

I'd say it depends on the specification of your lights.

It would probably be a good idea to compare lights of a similar design so if you make a single LEd light compare it to a well known single LED light etc. etc.
