Hello Folks,

I'm looking for some Collimators for a Luxeon III to try to compress the light from the LED into the the smallest beam I can possibly get.

The Fraen LP Optics are a bit too wide for my purposes - does anyone know of an optic that can compress the beam into a tighter viewing angle?

Please post here or PM me.

Thanks!

Check out Carclo-optics.com look at their specialist range, they have a 2 degree. Completely different form factor than the NX-05 and Fraen LP we are all accustomed to. I requested samples and have mailed them to a fellow CPF member for review. As far as I know, they aren't available in the states yet.

I found the site, and the Luxeon optics page, but can't find the 'Specialist Range' area - could you give me a link? I only see their 'Classic Range' stuff.

I too, would like to request some samples if the optics are at 2 degrees... That would work quite well for what I'm working on, methinks.

I've seen the optics themselves, but never a beam shot. If they're as wide a viewing angle as the low profiles it doesn't help me since I need a tighter collimation.
