Sticking to the television theme, what are some of your favorite television series or shows? Include cartoons or general themes if you wish, past or present.

Some of my favorites trying to keep in order of preference:

Star Trek: Voyager (probably my favorite series)
Star Trek: The next Generation
X-Files
Family Guy
Simpsons
Jeff Corwin (Animal Planet)
Full House (sitcom aired in the early 90's)
Forensic Files (Court TV) and related shows
Home Improvement
Fresh Prince of Bel Air (90's sitcom)
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Star Trek: Enterprise
Oblivious (Spike TV Series)
Xena: Warrior Princess

Honerable mentions:

Animal Planet's most extreme
Animal Cops
Beyond Belief Fact or Fiction
Cops
Married with Children
America's Most Wanted
Suze Orman (CNBC financial show)

If I can think of more I'll probably edit them in. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I don't know what I'd do without forum editing. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

How come I don't see Barney Miller in reruns? That was indeed a very good show.

Currently:
The only entertainment shows that I try not to miss are:

"Charmed" (Major "hots" for Alyssa Milano, and the other ladies on the show "ain't" bad either) I like the straight "Good vs. Evil" theme.

The only show on "the big 3" broadcast networks that I watch is "Las Vegas" on NBC Tuesday nights. First tuned in to see Nikki Cox, (another super "hottie") but got engrossed in the program as a whole. James Caan is just totally cool as the ex-spook running the Casino.

Beyond that I usually watch King of the Hill, Simpsons, Malcom and Arrested Development Sunday nights on FOX broadcast.

The rest of the time I pretty much keep FOX News on constantly.

The funny thing is that now when I watch re-runs of my old very favorite programs, I generally find them as insipid and trite as the current excuses for entertainment and "reality" shows that are currently popular with "normal people".
