Movie flashlight

Hi Guys I was wondering if you could help me out .I am looking for the UV flashlight that Wesley snipes uses in the movie BLADE .This also might be just a standard flashlight converted to UV for the movie .I would still like to know what brand it is .Any help would be greatly appreciated .Thanks Bill

The one used to burn the fat blob? My guess is a MaxaBeam with a UV filter.

I agree. The MaxaBeam.

The UltraViolet Filters are rather expensive. 'Ultra'-Covert IR Filters are pretty expensive too.

Thanks guys .I had a feeling that was the right one but I needed some expert opinions .Do you guys know if Maxabeam sells the UV filter or is there some outside source you guys recomend? Thanks Bill

Honestly!

The UltraViolet Filter for the MaxaBeam is the MBA2000 that allows through long-wave UV but stops most visible and short-wave UV.

We're looking at a few hundred dollars for this I think.
